We are interested to hear any feedback you may have on the two different aspects discussed on this website:

a) The Nature Reserve:

• Are there any aspects of the current proposal that you like or dislike?

• Are there other features you think should be included?

• Are you involved in a local organisation which may like to be involved once the nature reserve is established?

• Do you have any other comments, queries or suggestions?

b) Our suggested approach to delivering up to 200 dwellings and 1 hectare of employment land, which SSDC has previously suggested could be delivered north of Ilchester.

 

We are also aware that there is a view locally that there are traffic issues in Ilchester at busy times, which is principally caused by people using the village as a through route between the A303 and Yeovil, despite there being a large junction between the A303 and A37 to accommodate this traffic. As such, we are also interested to know:

 

c) Whether you think it would be a positive step if measures were put in place within Ilchester, to discourage through-traffic and encourage use of the main road network instead?

 

d) If so, do you have any suggestions for suitable measures that would help?
